Fine Print proofreading and editing services works with authors, businesses, students, and anyone who needs clear, consistent, and correct English. They offer a range of proofreading and copyediting services to suit the client's needs and budget.

Fine Print proofreading and editing services is run by Kelly Nicholls, an experienced proofreader and copy editor with proven project management experience. Her experience in the public sector has helped her as she works with small and medium sized businesses in fields such as translation, marketing, PR, and consultancy.

She has worked with a number of authors, including those who have followed the traditional publishing route or have self-published. Her love of books and reading helps her keep abreast of trends in the publishing industry, including eBooks and ePublishing. She is also a director of BookPM Ltd, which focuses on guiding authors through the self-publishing process for Kindle eBooks.

Most recently, her customers have primarily been international postgraduate students. In many cases, the students have English as a second or additional language and need help to ensure their written work effectively demonstrates their knowledge of the subject and reflects their dedicated study. Her experience as a secondary English teacher and TEFL qualification helps in teaching students how to learn from their commonly made mistakes and improve their future writing.

Fine Print also has a pool of vetted subcontractors to draw from if necessary, particularly if specialist/sophisticated subject knowledge is required. Kelly also enjoys close relationships with a number of typesetters, translators, and designers who can complement the work she does.

Since most work is conducted electronically Fine Print has an expanding customer base and provides proofreading and copyediting services to students throughout the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Kelly Nicholls is an associate of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) and a member of The Society of Young Publishers (SYP).

Kelly helped me make my English better so my essay would make more sense and I would get better marks for my work and I would get a good pass for my research part of my dissertation. I liked that she gave me things to work on and make better so that I could get a good pass. That helped a lot.

I recently updated my CV and covering letter and whilst I was quite happy with the content, I wasn't sure the overall effect was right so I contacted Fine Print Proofreading. I was a little worried my CV would get torn to pieces but Kelly provided me with positive ideas and suggestions and even pointed out things that would never have occurred to me. Her emails were professional, friendly, very easy to understand and she answered all my queries promptly. (1) the proofreader is very responsible for her work, and her efficiency is very excellent.
(2) except customers' work, she will also attach documents listing the general comments of customers' original work when she returns our main one. Through that, it's simple for customers to review our initial work and how she reviewed it
(3) the price for the proofreading she does is very very reasonable.
